What the words mean
- LOP (layout plan)
- “LOP: Approved” on CDA’s list means CDA has approved the scheme’s layout plan. A provisional approval says so in its own words.
- NOC
- CDA’s no objection certificate for development. CDA says sponsors may start development and the sale of plots only after the NOC is issued; “NOC: Not Issued” means it has not been. Where CDA’s own later letters say an NOC was issued that its index page still shows as not issued, the row follows the letters and links them.
- RDA approved
- On RDA’s list of approved housing societies; RDA’s own words say what was approved and over how much land. On some rows of that list RDA’s words say another body approved the scheme (PHATA, a TMA or a district council), that a sanction or endorsement is not granted or still in process, or that part of it is illegal, merged or sold; those are shown amber, with RDA’s words in full.
- Cancelled
- The authority cancelled the layout plan or the NOC. Three schemes still show as approved on CDA’s index while CDA’s later notices cancelled them (for CBR Town, its revised & extended plan; its 2007 plan stands); they are shown cancelled here, with the notice.
- Illegal
- On an authority’s list of illegal schemes, or named illegal in a CDA public notice. CDA’s list is headed: “plots are being sold/marketed, in the name of following illegal housing schemes/agro Farming Schemes (as the sponsors of these Illegal schemes/land subdivisions have not obtained any approval/NOC from CDA) in Islamabad”.
- Not in Islamabad
- CDA’s letter of 7 May 2026 names schemes, many marketed with “Islamabad”, that in CDA’s words do not fall within Islamabad Capital Territory and are outside CDA’s territorial jurisdiction.
