1. Who is responsible

Jaidad Finder operates jaidadfinder.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. To ask about your data, correct it, or have it deleted, email [email protected].

2. What we collect, and why

We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.

3. Voice search

On Chrome, speech is transcribed by the browser itself: the audio goes to Google’s own speech service and never reaches our server. On an iPhone or iPad speaking English, it goes to Apple’s speech service in the same way. On browsers that cannot transcribe locally — and for Urdu on Apple devices — the audio is sent to our server, which forwards it to a transcription provider (Deepgram) and returns the text. We do not store the audio, and we do not store the transcript either; only the search you then run is kept, like any other search query.

4. Cookies and sessions

Signing in sets a session cookie. It is httpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it, and it expires after 24 hours. Signing in with Google also sets a second httpOnly cookie for five minutes, used only to check that the sign-in was started from this site. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Signing in with Google involves Google’s own cookies, which are governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Dealers. When you enquire about a listing, your phone number — and your name, if you gave it — go to the dealer who posted it. Once they have it, its use is their responsibility.
Buyers, if you are a dealer. Your mobile (or landline) and WhatsApp number are printed on each of your listing pages, so anyone reading the page can call or message you. Your email address, picture, city and street address are not.
Service providers. Our servers and database run on Railway; email notifications are sent through an email provider; voice audio on non-Chrome browsers passes through Deepgram; Google provides sign-in. Each sees only what it needs to do its job. Videos that sellers upload for a listing are hosted unlisted on YouTube, so Google holds the video file under its own terms and it is not found by YouTube search.
The authorities. We will disclose data when required by Pakistani law, including under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, in response to a lawful request.

6. Where your data is processed

Our hosting runs on Railway in its Singapore region (asia-southeast1), so your data is processed in Pakistan and in Singapore. If you are visiting from outside Pakistan — many of our users are overseas Pakistanis — this means your data leaves the country you are in.

7. How long we keep it

Questions typed or spoken to Ask AI are kept for 90 days with the answer they got, so we can see what people ask and improve the answers. They are not linked to your account or your address, and they are deleted after that.

Account details, saved plots and saved searches: for as long as your account exists, then deleted when you ask us to close it.
Enquiries: kept so the dealer and our staff can see the history of a plot; ask us to remove yours.
Documents uploaded for verification: kept as the record of what a claim or dealer verification was decided on.
Push subscriptions: until you switch the device off on your account page, or the browser tells us the device is gone.
WhatsApp opt-in: until you switch it off from your dashboard or reply STOP.
Session cookies: 24 hours.
Voice audio and transcripts: never stored.

8. Your choices

You can use the map and read listings without an account and without giving us anything but the hashed IP address.
You can stop notifications from your account page. Notifications are by email, and on a device where you have switched them on, by browser push. Dealers can opt into WhatsApp messages when they register, and switch them off from their dashboard or by replying STOP to any message.
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you asking.

9. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, sessions are httpOnly cookies, connections use HTTPS, and access to the database is restricted to the systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you.

10. Children

The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the product changes and after legal review. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
